The course gives an overview of the Protection of Human Rights at the European and International level. The approach is mainly legal and expounds in the light of relevant case law the main futures of the protection system. The international protection is examined at the universal level (mainly UN) and regional level (American, African and European) with a particular emphaisis on the European Convention of Human rights
