· The individual and collective relationships of staff members with the public services which are their employers, are examined as a system of social relations (including the protective schemes against the risks of existence); a comparative method is used to analyse tenured employment through the categories of social law. · The course deals with tenured employment in the civil service of the State and of the federate authorities ; untenured employment in the public sector ; employment with local councils ; employment with public bodies, including self-governing public enterprises
