Objective

Familiarize the students with some actuarial notions, without using out-of-scope mathematics. Give them an introduction to insurance accounting principles


Contents

Financial operations, mortality tables, introduction to the probability calculus, premiums and reserves in life insurance. Premiums and reserves in non-life insurance, deductibles and intervention limits, segmentation, reinsurance. Notions of general accounting, application to insurance companies
