Title

Analysis of teaching practices in classroom

Objective

The plan is to introduce students to major paradigms of researches and discussions concerning today the study of teaching practices and, more particularly, those implemented in the classrooms of primary and secondary schools



Contents

 Clarification of terminology: teacher's practices, teaching methods, classroom techniques, pedagogical methods, etc  The classic paradigm of research on teaching practices quantitative researches, « teacher -effect » researches, researches on "process-product"  Current researches: comprehensive researches and ecological researches  Study on two teaching methods: the establishment of multi-annual cycles of learning and differentiated instruction

Written exam consisting in: 1) open questions about the course, 2) question on book or article to be chosen by the student in a list provided by the teacher
